Renovation of Hangars – WPAFB

Renovation of Hangars F/34007, F/34015, and F/34016 to re-purpose use for the Air Force base from the C-5 aircraft to the C-17.  This renovations required the rework of existing sprinkler system to allow for coverage of the aircraft.  The rework of the foam fire system to eliminate further accidental detonation of the system requiring the redesign of the system and the modification of heat detectors.  Major redesign was completed to accommodate the installation of the fall arrest system, which require extensive structural work to the building to support all fall arrest requirements.  Rework of hangar door aperture was required to accommodate new C-17.  Project also consisted of installation of 400 amp pin and sleeve connectors for the Aircraft support equipment
