- Project Description – The project consisted of the demolition of various objects to include but limited to the existing roof down to the metal deck, roof top package HVAC units and associated ductwork, concrete flat work, flagpole and memorial brick pavers. The flagpole and memorial brick pavers were removed with care, stored and re-installed at the new entry. Replacement of the roof system with addition of a faux mansard roof and covered entry of which both were a standing seam metal roof panels. The metal decking and light gauge steel framing for the faux mansard was galvanized. A roof scuttle was added to be accessed from the Mezzanine. The existing scuppers, conductor heads and downspout were replaced. The new insulation board thickness was tapered to the existing scupper locations. The existing HVAC system was replaced with a boiler/chiller split system. The air handlers were hung from the interior roof structure. Electrical connections were made at new air handlers. The building was occupied during the project duration.
